Assessment

Students in the Boise District participate in a variety of assessments during the school year. Assessments can be National, State, or District depending on the grade level of the student.

National

  • NAEP - National Assessment of Educational Progress - Grades 4, 8, 12

State

  • IRI - Idaho Reading Indicator - Grades K-3
  • DWA - Direct Writing Assessment - Grades 5, 7, 9
  • DMA - Direct Math Assessment - Grades 4, 6, 8
  • IAA - Idaho Alternate Assessment - Qualifying Special Education students
  • ISAT - Idaho Standards Achievement Tests - Grades 3-10

Boise School District

  • CBM - Curriculum Based Measurements - Grades 4-6
  • District Writing Assessment - Grades 6, 8, 11
  • Math Survey Assessment - Accelerated Math 7th grade placement - Grade 6
  • EOC - End of Course Test (semester common final) Grades 7-12
