Wellness Events & Updates

• COMING April 16-19th, Tobacco Cessation Class-Quit with Nancy - This FREE four-evening class exclusively for Boise Schools and St. Alphonsus employees will be held at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in the McCleary Auditorium, from 5:00-7:00 PM. It's Tobacco Cessation Like You've Never Seen It Before! Watch the video below for more information. To register please call (208) 342-0308.
  

• Wellness Plan 2012/13, effective September 1, 2012 - Opportunities to opt-in to the 2012/13 Wellness Plan have now concluded. The 2 requirements included completing a WellSteps Personal Health Assesment (PHA) and a biometric health screening either at a District location, OR by submitting a completed Health Verification OR Exemption Form. The deadline date to complete both was January 31, 2012.
• COMING April 9-26 Move it! - The goal is for Wellness Plan members to work 30 minutes or more of physical activity into daily schedules for 6 weeks. This campaign encourages physical activity by creating a friendly competition between members across locations. In addition, the buzz at work will be about getting healthy through physical activity. You pick the activity that is right for you. Earn 100 WellSteps Reward points!
• Now available! WellSteps Rewards Program - Opting-in to the 2012/13 Wellness Plan gives these plan members the opportunity to participate in the WellSteps Rewards Program now until July 31, 2012. This program allows members to earn points towards a one time reward for completing healthy activities. Members are eligible for a GOLD, SILVER, or BRONZE level reward.

• Members who completed both a biometric screening and the WellSteps PHA - 2788
• WellSteps Rewards - 1150 members participating so far
• Holiday Maintain Don't Gain, fall 2011 - 904 members completed
• The Culprit and The Cure, January - March 2012 - 700 members participating
