From Landstuhl, Germany, Ms. Nicely has been a teacher for
9 years. She spends her free time reading, participating in
a writing group, gardening, and walking her Border Collie,
Marley.
Cynthia (Cindy) Lee, Business Education
Education: Bachelor and Masters degrees from
Boise State University; holds certifications in Business Education
and Vocational Education.
An educator for 27 years, Ms. Lee enjoys camping, gardening,
NASCAR and reading. She is from Boise.
Keith Barnes, Math and Science
Education: BA in Physics from Carleton College in Minnesota,
Masters in Raptor Biology from Boise State University, and
a graduate of Teton Science School’s professional residency
in environmental education. Certified in Natural Sciences and
provisionally certified in math.

Mr. Barnes has been an educator since 2000. He relishes exploring
mountains, international
travel, skiing, drawing, and bicycling with his wife and two
young children.
Christine Murphy, English 9 - 12, Physical
Education

University, holds certifications in Secondary English and Physical
Education.
From Seattle, Washington, Ms. Murphy has been an educator for
25 years. She enjoys camping, boating, reading, football and
the Seattle Mariners.
Paige Matlock, Special Education Teacher
Education: BS in Physical Education/Health
from Boise State College, B.A in Elementary Education from Boise
State University,
Special Education certification from Boise State University.
Paige is proud to be a third generation native Idahoan. She started
her teaching career as an elementary school P.E. teacher in Gooding,
Idaho for 3 years. After finding her true calling, she has been
teaching special education in the Boise District for 13 years.
She loves to read, be outdoors, watch football (especially BSU)
and spend as much time as possible with her grown children.
Carolyn Barnes, Special Education Paraprofessional
Mrs. Barnes has been teaching in the Boise School District for
24 years.
She enjoys music, her five granddaughters, and time on the Oregon
Coast.
Emily Bergstrom, Academic/Career Counselor
Education: Mrs. Bergstrom
has her M.A. from Ball State University in Muncie,
IN. She has been a school counselor since 2006.
She enjoys
reading, hiking, camping and exploring Idaho with her husband,
daughter and dog.
