About Mrs. Amburn

laying books

My name is Kimberly Amburn and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be your child’s teacher. I am very passionate about teaching and truly do feel it is a very honorable profession. I enjoy getting to know each student and their very unique personalities. Each child has a place in our room and they are a valuable asset.

I want to assure you that my goal is to have each child reach their greatest potential, have an upbeat school year, and work in a warm and nurturing environment that is conducive to learning. I am committed to giving your child a quality education in an atmosphere that is positive. I would like to thank you in advance for entrusting your child with me this year. I am sure we will have fun, fulfilling and productive year.

I have been teaching for ten years at Cynthia Mann in the second, fifth and sixth grades. I enjoy teaching and working with technology and I serve as one of the technology coordinators in our building.

I was born in Sacramento, California and moved to Idaho in 1994. I have two children: an active son who is five years, and two year old little girl. They are both quite delightful, constantly keep me on my toes and highly entertained. I enjoy scrapbooking, reading good books, and recently have taken up playing tennis.
