Classroom Expectations:

1. I allow students to remain in my classroom as long as they do not cause a problem for themselves or anyone else.
2. If they cause a problem, I will ask them to fix it.
3. If they cannot or will not fix it, I will do something.
4. What I do will depend on the unique situation.

Individual Rewards:

Students will be praised and rewarded for appropriate behavior. Students who are working on-task, following classroom expectations, helping others, etc., may earn different rewards. Students may be given a “caught-ya” being good coupon, have a chance to pick from the "picnic basket", receive positive notes, select a piece of candy and will always be given verbal praise from their teacher.

Class Rewards:

Students earn “apples” for working together as a team in the classroom, during P.E., Music and Library and from receiving compliments from teachers/adults in the building, i.e. walking down the hall quietly. The classroom goal is to earn 20 apples. Once the goal is achieved students may choose to an activity that enriches their education and rewards their cooperative behavior.
