The primary goal of my classroom management plan is to preserve the
learning environment for every student.
Classroom Rules:
- You may
engage in any behavior that does not create a problem for you or anyone
else in the world.
- If you
find yourself with a problem, you may solve it by any means that does
not cause a problem for anyone else in the world.
- You
may engage in any behavior that does not jeopardize the safety or
learning of yourself or others. Unkind words and actions will not be
tolerated.
Consequences
for choosing to break the classroom rules:
- Eye
message from the teacher/proximity
- verbal
reminder of choices
- 1st
logical consequence-- (recovery in room) removed from the situation so
that
student may have time to rethink choices. Further logical consequences
may or
may not be applied, depending on each individual situation.
- 2nd
logical consequence--(recovery out of room) student will be provided an
alternate recovery area in a different classroom and will be invited to
return when they feel he or she may manage themself according to the
class rule. Further
logical consequences may or may not be applied, depending on each
individual
situation.
- 3rd
logical consequence--(recovery period out of room) student will be
provided an alternate recovery area with administrative involvement. Further
logical consequences may or may not be applied, depending on each
individual
situation.
Rewards for exemplary behavior

Other Miscellaneous Class

ask them to bring their homework, lunch, coat or other items for which
the student is responsible. Students are not allowed to use the phone
in the office at any time.
- Students are not allowed to be in the
classroom without teacher
supervision.
- Students are not allowed to leave the
classroom or the school
grounds without teacher permission.
