Lunch Club 7/8/9:
Students are selected by low grades. This noon study hall promotes
student success.
Student of the month: By teacher recommendation
and selection
Students are recognized for their citizenship. Teachers submit
names of individuals who are leaders in class, have good attendance,
and participate in class activities. These students "go the
extra mile" for others. Fairmont appreciates their example!
Fun in the sun!!!!!
In late May the entire school picnics outside. There are games
to play, fun foods to buy and eat, and crafts to learn. It’s
an active and fun celebration of a successful year.
Mentoring: Tammy Burks
9th grade students can apply to mentor 7th grade students during
fall semester. Mentors meet with small groups of students
during 7th grade lunch hour to help with their transition
from elementary school to junior high school. They provide
leadership and support for younger students.
