 At the
beginning of the school
year, and as new students enroll at Jefferson, we
review and agree to
follow the rules of the library.
- Come in to the library quietly and use quiet
voices.
- Always walk in the library.
- Each student is responsible for all items
checked
out in their name.
- After checking out your book, sit and read
quietly.
- Handle all library material with care to
avoid
soiling, tearing or loss. If you damage a book
due to neglect,
you will be charged for the replacement of the
book.
- Make every effort to return library items on
time. Items are checked out for one (1) week but
may be
renewed. After 30 calendar days a book is
considered lost and you
will be charged for replacement.
- Use good manners and be considerate of
others. The
library is for the enjoyment of everyone.
- Remember to try and read at least 20 minutes
everyday.
- Checkouts Allowed:
Kindergarten-- 1 (last quarter)
1st & 2nd Grade-- 1 Book
3rd to 6th Grade -- 2 Books
NO CHECKOUTS DURING THANKSGIVING,
CHRISTMAS OR SPRING BREAK
