Elementary School

We are proud to say that Koelsch has been part of the Boise School District for over 50 years. Our school has consistently provided outstanding educational opportunities for children throughout our neighborhoods and community.

Koelsch School serves a wide diversity of students from all over the world. Our enrollment is approximately 400 students. Currently, we have over 100 English Language Learners (ELL) speaking 19 different languages.

Koelsch School has an active PTO and volunteer program providing great support to staff and students. Our staff welcomes you to visit and hope you enjoy our school.

CURRENT EVENTS & NOTES
  • H1N1 Vaccination Clinic for Koelsch students is scheduled for Tuesday, February 9th.  Permission slips need to be brought back before your student is immunized.
  • Koelsch Walking Club happens every Wednesday during the lunch hour!  Let's see how many miles we can walk this year!  Wear your walking shoes!

  • Friday, February 26th:  Jump Rope for Heart  (4-5-6th grades--9:00-11:00am), (1-2-3 grades--1:00-3:00pm)   See Mrs. Morgan for more information.
  • Elementary Music Festival at Borah High School--ask your band, orchestra, or choir student for details.
  • Tuesday, March 2nd--6:00-7:30pm:  Micron Math Night for all grades.  Come and join in the math games and activities
  • Friday, March 4th--PTO Cookie Dough Fundraiser Kick-off.  Watch for information to come home!
  • Friday, March 4th--5:00pm:  PTO meeting in the library
  • Thursday, March 11th:  Kindergarten Registration for the 2010-2011 school year
