Why join PTA? Family involvement promotes
student success, and there is more than 30 years of research to back
that up!!!
No matter what your family income or background may be,
students with involved parents are more likely to:
- Earn higher grades and test scores.
- Be promoted, pass their classes, and earn credits.
- Attend school regularly.
- Have better social skills, show improved behavior,
and adapt well to school.
- Graduate and go on to postsecondary education.
Plus, when families, schools, and communities work
together,
- Student achievement improves,
- Teacher morale rises,
- Communication among parents, teachers, and
administrators increases,
- Family, school, and community connections multiply.
Meetings and Membership
Membership forms will be sent home with each child at
the beginning of the year. However, there are always forms available at
the PTA table as you enter the main doors.
Meetings times will be determined the first week of
school. The location is the Maple Grove Library. If you cannot attend
the meetings please join and become an electronic member. All members
will receive monthly emails and electronic copies of the minutes and
agendas.
