ANCIENT EGYPTIAN, ROMAN & MESOPOTAMIAN ARTIFACTS IN THE LIBRARY

For the month of January, ancient Egyptian, Roman and Mesopotamian artifacts will be on display for all Mountain View students and their families to look at. Rowan Schmidt, a 2nd grader in Mr. Purdy's class, and his dad, Bob Schmidt, have graciously lent Mountain View's library their private collection with the hopes that all students will get the chance to see first hand artifacts from several thousand years ago! Thank you to the Schmidts!

Library Policies

The goal in the library is to find and checkout a book that is interesting to you!
Remember to use your library voice.
Show respect to everyone and your library.
Return library books on time.
Each student is responsible for all materials checked out in their name.
After 30 days a book is considered lost and you will be charged for replacement.
Handle all library material with care to avoid damage. If a book is damaged due to neglect, you will be charged for replacement.
Kindergartners and 1st graders may check out one book.
Grades 2-6 may check out two books.
Books are checked out for one week at a time and can be renewed if another student or teacher is not waiting for the book.
