An overview of our Accelerated Reading Program

What is Accelerated Reader (AR)?

AR is a reading enhancement program that enables teachers to monitor a students' reading progress and comprehension. Students are given a reading level range based on the results of their Star reading test. After a student reads a book, they may take an AR test to check their understanding of the book they've just read. The results of the test let the teacher know how the student is progressing.
