What are the times students can
be at Riverglen?
Students can arrive as early as 6:30 AM, and can be in
the building for a relatively unlimited time after school
as long as they are under the supervision/control of a faculty
member.
For school dances, the time that students may arrive
is usually 6:00 PM, and the dances are over by 8:00 PM.
Do
students get lunch on early release times?
12:00:
Noon Release - Students do not have a lunch period.
1:15: "Early" Release - Students do have a lunch
period.
What do I have to do in order to excuse my son/daughter from
school?
In order
to grant an early release for a student, or to pick him/her up
from Riverglen while school is in session, or if they have an
absence such as a medical appointment that can be excused, you
must see the front desk to grant permission for the absence.
You can no longer request Early Leave Permits for your
son/daughter over the phone; you can only report absences that
way.
How can I view my son/daughter's current grades without having
a report card?
To do
this, you can Infinite Campus.
Click
here to access the Infinite Campus portal. It gives you access to grades that are
continuously being updated by teachers, and includes
disciplinary reports, attendance records, and more.
Does Riverglen have a school newspaper I can read?
Yes -
The Grizzly Gazette. You can ask your son or daughter to
bring a copy home, as each student gets one in their 2nd hour
class. Or, you can pick up a copy from Riverglen's
library.

school day?

Does the school have announcements I can check?
Certainly! The announcements are online, and you can
click here to view them.

Albertson's at the Northgate Shopping Center, if you are heading in the direction
of the Garden City Wal-Mart.
Where is the counselors' office located?
Enter the school through the main doors by the parking lot.
Sign in at the front
desk first, please!
Then, turn down the first hall on the
right and go towards the doors of the library.
Take another right after getting to the media center hallway, and then
take the first right after that, just past the elevator, and that is where the counselor's office is. |
