Summer Programs

 

The Boise School District offers a variety of summer programs for our students to enhance their educational experiences.

No School July 4, 5, & 6

  • Alternative High School - For eligible at-risk students entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall or needing to finish graduation requirements. June 11 - July 31 at Frank Church High School.
  • Alternative Junior High School - June 11 - July 25 at West Junior High School. For eligible at-risk students currently enrolled in grades 7 - 8.
  • Driver Education - 2 sessions are available with 6 class times in each session. June 6 - July 1 OR July 5 - August 2
  • Elementary (students qualify based on IRI /ISAT scores)
    • Location TBA.
  • English Language Learners - Summer school for secondary ELL students. June 11 - July 31 at Frank Church High School.
  • Just For Kids - Child care program
  • Secondary 8th Grade - Reading 8, PE 8, and Health 8. June 11 - July 31. Location TBA.
  • Secondary 9-12 Summer School - June 11 - July 31. Students entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall. Location TBA.
  • Secondary TVMSC - Treasure Valley Math & Science Center secondary accelerated math courses. June 7 - July 31. Location TBA.
  • Summer Meal Program - Free breakfast & lunch for children under 18.
  • Summer Music - June 6 - June 24, M-F for students in grades 4 through 12.
